New Youth Divisions
We're looking to expand
With there currently being no pathway from youth football to adult football and the number of 18 year olds moving into the adult game declining the Norfolk Sunday Football League with the assistance of Norfolk FA and Paul Razey are looking to introduce a youth section to the league for the 2025-26 season with an emphasis on “Let Them Play”, removing some of the admin and focusing on getting youth players enjoying football and progressing through to the adult game. The new youth section will be known as the Norfolk Sunday Football League – Youth (NSFLY).
The league will look to –
- Create a pathway for players to continue football after Under 18s
- More flexibility on kick off times and match days
- Create a family friendly environment for players focusing on respect and sportsmanship
- Continuing the charging structure of the Norfolk Sunday Football League where we try to help clubs before issuing fines
- Look to help not hinder clubs
- Currently we’re looking at U10’s, U12s, U14s, U16s and U18s but depending on numbers this could be increased to other age groups
